The development of digital technologies has significantly affected the socio-economic change at a global level. It has radically modified the way in which people learn, produce, work, consume; it has modified the way in which we interact with each other and with the government, and the ways in which we use our free time.
In Uruguay Digital combines the efforts of various actors from the public and private sector, academia, organized civil society, and the technical community. It is a continuous and evolving process, reflected in all editions of the Uruguay Digital Agenda.
This brand aims at boosting the progress of the Information and Knowledge Society, by promoting that the persons, companies, and the Government make more efficient use of the Information and Communication Technologies.
The development of Uruguay Digital integrates the aims assigned to the Agency for the Development of Electronic Management Government and Information and Knowledge Society under the Presidency of the Republic.
