“Ecos del Plata”: Uruguayan Music in Hong Kong
This was a pleasant event attended by around 60 friends of Uruguay in Hong Kong, who enjoyed works by masters such as Beatriz Lockhart, Eduardo Fabini, Astor Piazzolla, and Gerardo Matos Rodríguez.
A particularly moving moment was the duo between Mariana Airaudo and Hong Kong accordionist Sam Tsui from Hong Kong Arts Without Boundaries to perform the classic tango "Por una cabeza."
Prior to the concert, guests enjoyed a reception featuring top-quality Uruguayan meats and wines.
The Consulate-General of Uruguay wishes to thank the co-organisers, sponsors, suppliers, and everyone who joined us for this milestone: the first concert by a Uruguayan artist in Hong Kong since the opening of our office.
