Uruguay and Hong Kong explore new opportunities for cooperation in the area of investment
Uruguay and OASES discussed ways to position Uruguay as a gateway to Latin America for strategic enterprises.
The Consul General of Uruguay in Hong Kong, Federico Lage, met with representatives of the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises (OASES) of the Government of Hong Kong SAR: Deputy Director General Jimmy Chiang and Ecosystem Development Manager Nelson Chau.
During the meeting, OASES presented its progress in attracting high-tech companies to Hong Kong, while the Consul shared his vision on how Uruguay can serve as a key partner for these firms' potential expansion into Latin America.
