Visit of Uruguayan Filmmaker Ramiro Cabrera to Hong Kong
The Consulate-General of Uruguay in Hong Kong is pleased to have supported the recent visit to the city by Uruguayan filmmaker Ramiro Cabrera.
During his stay in Hong Kong, the filmmaker attended two screenings of his film Ponsonbyland at the Broadway Cinematheque, as part of the EU-Asia Documentary Film Festival. Both screenings drew significant audiences, fostering enriching Q&A sessions.
Additionally, Ramiro Cabrera held meetings with prominent figures in the Hong Kong film industry to prepare for his next audiovisual project, which is expected to help further build cultural bridges between the two regions.
