The Consulate-General of Uruguay in Sydney invites the Uruguayan community to attend the National Flag-Raising Ceremony, to be held in commemoration of the 201st anniversary of Uruguay’s Declaration of Independence.
The event will take place on Friday, 28 August, at 3:30 p.m. at the Ibero-American Plaza in Sydney. The ceremony will include the raising of the national flag and the singing of the National Anthem, a floral tribute at the bust of General José Artigas, and a folk music performance by Los Sureños.
