Consulate General of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay in Sydney

The Consulate General of Uruguay in Sydney is pleased to inform that a Mobile Consulate will be held in New Zealand during the week of December 15, 2025, with the aim of facilitating access to various consular services for Uruguayan nationals residing in that country.

In order to plan this activity according to demand and determine the cities to be visited, we invite those interested to send an email to cgsydney@mrree.gub.uy, indicating:

• Full name
• Type of service required
• City of residence in New Zealand

The services that may be provided include:

• Issuance and renewal of passports
• Renewal of identity cards (cédulas de identidad)
• Registration of birth in the Civil Registry
• Authorizations for minors
• Powers of attorney
• Consular certificates
• Certificates of proof of life
• Creation of BPS user accounts
