The Uruguayan Club of Sydney celebrated the 30th anniversary of its premises in Hinchinbrook.

The Consulate-General joined the Uruguayan Club of Sydney in the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the inauguration of its premises in Hinchinbrook, an emblematic space for the Uruguayan and Latin American community in New South Wales.

On 17 May, the Consulate-General of Uruguay in Sydney had the pleasure of joining the Uruguayan Club of Sydney in the commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the inauguration of its premises in Hinchinbrook, an emblematic space for the Uruguayan and Latin American community in New South Wales.

The event brought together members of different generations of our community, local authorities, artists and friends of the club, in a celebration marked by music, shared memories and recognition of the commitment of those who, over the decades, have contributed to keeping this important meeting place alive.

The Uruguayan Club has played a fundamental role as a space for belonging, integration and cultural promotion, strengthening the ties between Uruguay and Australia and fostering connections among diverse communities.
