Social Security Bank (BPS) Power of Attorney

Who is it for?

To people of legal age who wish to grant a power of attorney to a third party so that, in their name and representation, they can carry out procedures before the Social Security Bank (BPS).

How do I start the procedure?

To start the procedure, you must have the following documentation:
1. Valid Uruguayan identity card or Uruguayan passport
2. Personal data of the interested party: address, contact telephone number, marital status. If married: name of the spouse and indication of whether it is a first marriage. 
3. Copy of the current identity card of the representative and his/her complete address
4. Request an appointment by emailing: cgsydney@mrree.gub.uy
5. Present yourself in person with the complete documentation on the day of the appointment. 
6. Cost: Free
