One-Time Return Travel Document to the Republic (Emergency Travel Document)

• For Uruguayan nationals or legal citizens whose travel document is expired, damaged, has no available pages, or has been stolen or lost within the jurisdiction of this Consulate General.
• Once you have carefully reviewed the requirements, request an appointment by calling 416 730 1289.
• This travel document is valid for eight consecutive days and will be retained by Uruguayan immigration authorities upon entry into the country.

Cost: 

Waived in cases of theft or loss of Uruguayan passport. Otherwise, the cost is 1 consular peso.

Requirements

• Travel itinerary to Uruguay
• In case of theft or loss, police report issued by the nearest police authority within the jurisdiction of this Consulate General
