Power of Attorney Letter for the Social Security Bank (BPS)

This service is intended for adults who wish to grant a power of attorney to a third party so that he or she may carry out procedures and formalities before the Social Security Bank (BPS) on their behalf.
 

Requirements
 

To initiate the procedure, the following documentation is required:

  •  Valid Uruguayan identity card or valid Uruguayan passport
  • Personal information of the applicant: address, contact telephone number, and marital status. If married: spouse’s name and indication of whether it is a first marriage
  • Copy of the attorney-in-fact’s valid identity card and full address
  • Appear in person with the complete documentation on the day of the appointment
