Reimbursement of Pension Contributions (Power of Attorney) at AFAP, BPS and DNM

Issuance of a Power of Attorney Letter for procedures before Pension Savings Fund Administrators (AFAPs), the Social Security Bank (BPS), and the National Directorate of Migration (DNM) of Uruguay in matters related to social security.

Procedure

In order to schedule an in-person appointment, the following documentation and information of the Grantor (the person granting the Power of Attorney) must be submitted:

• Copy of a valid Uruguayan document (passport or identity card)
• Full address
• Contact telephone number
• Marital status if married, provide the spouse’s full name and indicate whether it is a first or subsequent marriage
• Specify the AFAP before which the Power of Attorney will be presented

Of the Attorney-in-Fact

• Copy of a valid Uruguayan identity card
• Full address
