Upcoming Visit to Australia by Uruguay’s Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs
As part of the visit, the signing of the Social Security Agreement between Uruguay and Australia is scheduled, a milestone that will directly benefit both the Uruguayan and Australian communities by enabling the portability of pension rights and access to benefits in both systems.
The agenda will include meetings with officials from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), as well as engagements with representatives from the parliamentary, academic, and business sectors.
