Criminal Record Certificate
For Uruguayan citizens or foreign nationals who have resided in Uruguay and require a certificate of their criminal record.
Requirements
- Valid Uruguayan identity document (cédula de identidad and/or passport).
- For foreign nationals: valid passport from their country of nationality.
You must send a copy of your identity document by email to urubelgica@mrree.gub.uy. Based on the information provided, the Consulate will submit a request to the competent authorities in Uruguay and will issue a certificate reflecting the information received.
The certificate must be collected in person by the applicant during public office hours. The applicant must present their identity document when collecting the certificate.
This procedure is free of charge.
