Changes to the Validity of Life Certificates Issued by the Caja de Jubilaciones y Pensiones Bancarias
As of 30 December 2025, the validity period of life certificates submitted to the Caja de Jubilaciones y Pensiones Bancarias will be six (6) months.
The Caja de Jubilaciones y Pensiones Bancarias (CJPB) has decided to reduce the validity period of life certificates required for the payment of pensions abroad.
From 30 December 2025 onward, life certificates presented to the CJPB will be considered valid for six (6) months.
