Recovery of Pension Benefits (Power of Attorney) before AFAP, BPS and the National Directorate of Migration (DNM)
Issuance of a Power of Attorney to carry out procedures before the Pension Savings Fund Administrators (AFAPs), the Social Security Bank (BPS), and the National Directorate of Migration of Uruguay in connection with social security matters.
Requirements
In order to schedule an in-person appointment, the following documentation and information must be submitted:
Applicant – Grantor of the Power of Attorney
- Copy of a valid Uruguayan identity document (passport or identity card).
- Full address.
- Contact telephone number.
- Marital status. If married, please provide the spouse’s full name and indicate whether it is a first or subsequent marriage.
Attorney-in-Fact
- Copy of a valid Uruguayan identity card.
- Full address.
This procedure is free of charge.
