The Embassy accompanies the participation of Uruguayan parliamentary authorities in ParlAmericas
The Embassy of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay to Canada accompanied the participation of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, MP Rodrigo Goñi, and MP Margarita Libschitz Suárez in the 22nd ParlAmericas Plenary Assembly and the 10th Open Parliament Network Gathering, held in Ottawa.
The event provided an important opportunity for hemispheric parliamentary dialogue on democracy, trade, transparency, open parliament, and regional cooperation.
The participation of Uruguayan parliamentary authorities in this gathering reaffirms Uruguay’s commitment to strengthening democracy, interparliamentary dialogue, and cooperation among the countries of the Americas.
