Single Registry of Uruguayans Abroad
We are pleased to present the new platform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay, called the Single Registry of Uruguayans Abroad (RUUE). This tool has been implemented with the aim of promoting and strengthening the ties between Embassies and Consulates and Uruguayan nationals abroad, as well as maintaining an updated registry of Uruguayan citizens in their country of residence.
The RUUE includes the following two tools:
- Map of Uruguayan Embassies and Consulates around the world, with a geolocation system that provides the address, telephone numbers, opening hours, and contact information of diplomatic and consular missions.
- Notification channel, which facilitates the dissemination of events, meetings, updates on procedures, recommendations, emergency alerts, and other matters of interest issued by Uruguayan missions abroad.

The RUUE guarantees the protection of the personal data of registered citizens, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 18,331/2008 on Personal Data Protection.
