Who can apply?

Individuals or immediate family members who require the issuance of a certificate registered in the database of the Civil Registry of Uruguay (birth, marriage or death).

Requirements

• Copy of the Uruguayan identity card or Uruguayan passport of the holder of the certificate.
• Copy of the applicant's identity document proving their relationship with the holder, in the case of a third party.
• If available, a copy of the previous certificate or, otherwise, the details of the certificate to be requested (full names; date of birth/marriage/death; place of birth/marriage/death; father's full name; mother's full name; and registration details: year, office and certificate number).
• Indicate precisely the name of the entity, body or institution to which the certificate will be submitted.
