Who can apply?

Individuals who wish to grant power of attorney to a third party located in Uruguay so that they can act on their behalf in all matters related to social security before the AFAP, the Social Security Bank (BPS) and the National Migration Directorate (DNM) of Uruguay.

Requirements

• Valid Uruguayan identity card of the principal.
• Copy of the attorney's valid Uruguayan identity card.
• Indicate the full address of both parties.
• Indicate the name of the AFAP with which you are affiliated.
• Provide the principal's marital status. If married, indicate the marriage number and submit the spouse's identity document.

How to apply?

Send your application, attaching the required documents, to the following email address: urualemania@mrree.gub.uy 

After verifying the documentation, you will be given an appointment to appear in person at the Consulate on the date and time indicated.

On the day of the appointment, you must present your valid identity document.
