¿Quién mató a Narciso? A film coproduced in Uruguay
As part of Uruguay's presence at the 76th Berlinale, it is worth noting that the feature film ‘¿Quién mató a Narciso?’ (Who Killed Narciso?) was selected for its world premiere at the Zoo Palast cinema, in the prestigious Panorama section of the festival.
‘Who Killed Narciso?’ is an international co-production, with minority Uruguayan participation through Mutante Cine.
The Embassy was present at the premiere, which took place to a full house, accompanying our compatriot Fernando Epstein, Uruguayan co-producer of ‘Who Killed Narciso?’
Once the screening was over and after a prolonged ovation from the audience, the film's director, Marcelo Martinessi (Paraguay), invited the main actors and producers onto the stage, where they were introduced. In addition, and in view of the film's subject matter, the floor was opened to questions from the audience, resulting in an enriching experience for those in attendance.
