Circular Note Nr. 03/2025 – Opening of the Book of Condolences on the Passing of Former President Mujica

Information is hereby provided regarding the opening of a Book of Condolences following the passing of the former President.
The Embassy of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay in the State of Israel, with profound sorrow, informs of the regrettable passing of the Former President of the Republic, Mr. José Alberto Mujica Cordano, which occurred on Tuesday, May 13, in the city of Montevideo. In this regard, the Government has decreed Official Mourning on May 14, 15, and 16.
Accordingly, a Book of Condolences has been opened at the Embassy premises (Shenkar 4, 1st floor, Herzliya Pituach) on Thursday, May 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and on Friday, May 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
