Certificate of Residence
Who is it for?
For adults who need to present in Uruguay a certificate indicating that they reside permanently outside the Republic.
How should it be done?
- You must request from the Israeli Ministry of the Interior a certificate stating the date you became a citizen or a permanent resident. This certificate must be issued in the name of the applicant, and the name must match the name and surname on the Uruguayan ID card.
- If you are registered under a different name at the Israeli Ministry of the Interior, you must request the corresponding change of name or ask a Notary to make a sworn statement clarifying that both names belong to the same person. The notarial document must be in Spanish and apostilled at the Israeli Ministry of Justice.
- You must have a valid Uruguayan identity card or passport.
- Once you have obtained the documents detailed above, request an appointment via WhatsApp at +972559893089, attaching all the necessary documents. After verifying the information, you will receive details of your appointment at the Consulate.
