Secure emergency access
Safe access to your home and safe room – Prepare your home for an emergency evacuation
These days we all spend a lot of time in the mamad (safe room), so it's important to prepare in advance in case you need emergency assistance. Preparing access to your home and mamad can save lives and prevent delays in moments of stress and distress.

Important tips for quick access in case of emergency:
- Don't lock the top bolt – when entering the apartment, leave the top bolt unlocked to avoid hindering a quick opening.
- Exchange keys with neighbors – make sure at least one trusted neighbor has a copy of your apartment key.
- Leave a spare key outside your home – hide a key in an agreed-upon location in the building or in a utility closet.
- Keep a key inside the safe room – in case of emergency, you can pass it to volunteers from inside.
