Visit of the IDSF Israel Defense and Security Forum
On September 17, Ambassador Manuel Etchevarren met with Brigadier General (Ret.) Winner Erez, Director of the Israel Defense and Security Forum (IDSF), and Elie Pieprz, its Director of International Relations.
Brigadier General (Ret.) Winner Erez, Director of the Israel Defense and Security Forum (IDSF), and its Director of International Relations, Elie Pieprz, visited this Mission.
The IDSF is a movement made up of military and security commanders in the reserves, researchers, and professionals, with tens of thousands of members from diverse sectors of Israeli society. Its activities include defense research and policy formulation, active engagement with the media and digital platforms, educational programs, and informational conferences.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the situation in Israel and the Middle East, future prospects, and opportunities for dialogue on security issues with Uruguay.
