Who is it for?

For adults who need to present in Uruguay a certificate indicating that they reside permanently outside the Republic.

How should it be done?

  • You must request from the Israeli Ministry of the Interior a certificate stating the date you became a citizen or a permanent resident. This certificate must be issued in the name of the applicant, and the name must match the name and surname on the Uruguayan ID card.
  • If you are registered under a different name at the Israeli Ministry of the Interior, you must request the corresponding change of name or ask a Notary to make a sworn statement clarifying that both names belong to the same person. The notarial document must be in Spanish and apostilled at the Israeli Ministry of Justice.
  • You must have a valid Uruguayan identity card or passport.
  • Once you have obtained the documents detailed above, request an appointment via WhatsApp at +972559893089, attaching all the necessary documents. After verifying the information, you will receive details of your appointment at the Consulate.

Cost USD 180. Payment should be made by bank transfer or in cash deposited at the nearest bank branch.
