  • Doctor in Law and Social Sciences graduated from the University of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay in 2012.
  • He joined the Foreign Service in 2013 through opposition and merits public competition.
  • His native language is Spanish, but he is also fluent in English and Portuguese.
  • He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Human Rights and Globalization at Universitat Oberta, Catalunya.
Professional experience
  • In 2024, he was appointed Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of the Republic to the Kingdom of Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland, concluding his duties in August 2025.
  • Specialist in Consular Affairs, particularly since 2013 when he became Head of the Office of Assistance for Compatriots at the Uruguayan Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
  • In 2015, he was appointed Consul of Uruguay in Barcelona, where the second-largest Uruguayan community resides.
  • In 2021, he was reappointed as Head of the Office of Assistance for Compatriots.
  • In 2022, he traveled on a Special Mission to Qatar to coordinate assistance during the FIFA World Cup held in that country.
