Mobile Consulates 2026
With the objective of facilitating access to a range of consular services for compatriots residing in areas distant from the Consulate in Stockholm, Sweden, this Consular Section is currently assessing the implementation of mobile consulates for the year 2026.
In order to facilitate the coordination of mobile consulates based on demand, we kindly request that compatriots send an email to cdestocolmo@mrree.gub.uy expressing their interest in having us visit their location. Please indicate your city of residence and the type of consular service required.
Below are examples of procedures that may be carried out at the mobile consulates:
- Renewal of Identity Card
- Issuance and Renewal of Passport
- Minor Travel Permits
- Requests for Birth, Marriage, and Death Certificates from the Civil Registry
- Consular Certificates
- Certificates of Proof of Life
- Creation of BPS User Account
