New shipment of medical equipment from Norway

The Embassy of Uruguay in Sweden has the great honor of sharing news that fills us with pride and hope: the Norwegian non-profit civil organization Hjelpemiddelfondet, created on the initiative of compatriot Carlos Caballero in 2002, has sent Container No. 160, valued at USD 94,000, from Norway to Uruguay, destined for TELETÓN, an institution with which they have cooperated for more than 15 years.
This shipment includes a wide variety of assistive devices: wheelchairs, walkers, transfer platforms, adapted tricycles, special beds, postural equipment, and many other supplies that will improve the quality of life of children and young people in rehabilitation.
Each container is the result of collective effort, solidarity, and the commitment of everyone involved in Hjelpemiddelfondet. This container also carries a special meaning: it is being sent to coincide with the commemoration of the 200th anniversary of Uruguay’s Declaration of Independence.
