Personal User For The Social Security Bank (BPS)

If you wish to access the Social Security Bank's online services, you can apply in person at the Consulate. This is a unique, non-transferable user ID assigned to each individual, allowing access to online services that require registration.

It is aimed to: 

To any person who has a connection with the Social Security Bank.

Requirement:

  1. Scanned copy of your Uruguayan ID card and/or passport, or identification document from the country where you currently reside (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, or Iceland).
  2. Contact phone number.
  3. Current address.
  4. Email address.

All the aforementioned documentation must be sent to cdestocolmo@mrree.gub.uy in PDF or JPG format.

Once the complete documentation has been received, the Consulate will enter your information into the Social Security Bank's system, which will generate an application that you must sign at the Consulate. If you are unable to attend in person, you can also coordinate your signature remotely (you must provide documentary evidence of the reason and/or situation preventing your attendance).
