Open Call by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Uruguayan Artists and Cultural Managers
This mechanism includes an initial call aimed at artists, cultural managers, and civil society organizations, with the goal of creating a catalogue of cultural projects that support and strengthen the international projection of Uruguay through its culture and contribute to the fulfillment of the country's Foreign Policy objectives.
On June 26th, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mario Lubetkin, officially announced the launch of this call during a press conference. Projects must be submitted to catalogo@mrree.gub.uy before August 31st, 2025.
The selected project catalogue resulting from this call will be made available to Uruguayan Embassies, Consulates, and Missions around the world. It will serve as a tool to promote and facilitate the inclusion of proposals in cultural programming abroad, as well as for potential funding through the Fund for the Promotion of Cultural Activities Abroad (FPACE).
The project selection process will be carried out by the General Directorate for Cultural Affairs within the framework of its competencies, prioritizing the following criteria: quality, relevance, consistency with the general and specific objectives of the Foreign Policy, and possibilities for co-financing.
