Minor's permit to issue/renew Uruguayan passport

How do I start the procedure?
1. Required documentation:
- Valid identity document in good condition of the mother and father
- Valid birth certificate of the minor (issued less than 30 days). If the minor has not been registered with the General Directorate of Civil Registry of Uruguay, he or she may do so at the Consulate when the birth has occurred in Australia.
- Copy of the minor's valid identity document
- In the event that one of the parents has deceased: the surviving parent must be present to sign the permit, with his or her valid identity document, and must present the death certificate of the deceased parent.

2. Request an appointment by sending an email to: uruaustralia@mrree.gub.uy, attaching the form, the corresponding documentation and indicating in the subject of the email the requested procedure.
3. Present yourself in person with the complete documentation on the day of the appointment.
