Visas
The visa is a document given to a foreigner who wants to travel to our country as a requirement to enter the country. The Uruguayan State has the right to grant or deny the visa according to the current immigration laws.
Please consult in advance whether your nationality requires a visa under the Visa Admission Regime for Foreigners at the Ministery of Interior Uruguay.
The visa itself does not guarantee entry to Uruguay. The national immigration authority at the port of entry will decide whether the foreigner is granted entry when they arrive in the country.
