IN VIEW OF: the upcoming publication of the results of the second edition of the National Index of Transparency and Access to Public Information (INTAI, for its acronym in Spanish);

WHEREAS:

1. INTAI is an initiative of the Access to Public Information Unit (UAIP, for its acronym in Spanish), whose objective is to measure the progress and degree of compliance with the current regulations regarding transparency and access to public information;
2. the results of the first edition of the INTAI for the year 2021 were published last year;
3. the Unit is in the process of reviewing and publishing the results for the second edition, corresponding to the year 2022;

WHEREAS:

1. Prior to the data survey for the new Index to be published, informative workshops were held with the transparency referents of the different institutions;
2. the instructions for conducting the survey and the methodology to be applied for this edition were jointly and timely published (https://www.gub.uy/unidad-acceso-informacion-publica/indice-nacional-tr…);
3. as mentioned above, auditing and control processes were carried out on the responses received from 169 institutions;
4. regarding the Active Transparency dimension, it was detected that there are 6 institutions in which some of the answers provided do not meet the requirements requested by the Unit as a control body in order to be considered correct;

IN ACCORDANCE WITH: the foregoing and the provisions of Law 18.381 of October 17, 2008;

The Executive Committee of the Access to Public Information Unit HEREBY RULES:

1. To determine that for the institutions and questions indicated in the attached table -which is considered part of this Ruling- the score shall be the one corresponding to the answer NO for the purposes of the INTAI calculation, as explained in Recital 4.
2. To widely disseminate the aforementioned information
