Demonstration of “substantial research activity” to acquire consultative status under the Antarctic Treaty

Research that analyzes the metrics to evaluate the research activity directly, and identifies both the total number of Antarctic documents and the proportion of national scientific results that they represented as significant metrics. The data showed that, even without terrestrial Antarctic infrastructure, Canada, Denmark and Switzerland may have reasonable grounds to demonstrate "substantial research activity" at a level comparable to existing Consultative Parties.
