The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is organizing the above event under the Tecnical Cooperation project RLA5083, Virtual Regional Training Course on SIT components: “Mosquito monitoring and data collection and data management” (Module II), from 27 to 30 July 2021, Vienna, Austria

Information Sheet Purpose The purpose of the event is to: i) provide technical support for the participating Member States on mosquito surveillance and population monitoring, field baseline data collection and data management in SIT pilot trials; ii) explore a practical experience and skills using standardized field data spreadsheet, data management, and offer the participant the chance to analyse their own data with immediate support; iii) review current monitoring protocols and discuss relevant information in the form of presentations and learning materials provided by participants, the IAEA, and the experts and iv) strengthen and harmonize regional procedures and mechanisms for baseline data collection and data management in SIT pilot trials, including networking, and information exchange.
Working Language of the event will be English.
